Implementation: School Scenario

SpellDoctor is ideally suited for use in Language Arts classes beginning around the 5th grade, or whenever students start doing their writing assignments on a computer. SpellDoctor can function well as a stand-alone spelling program, or as a supplement to workbooks.

It is important to note that SpellDoctor does not need to be tied to a specific schedule. Students work at their own pace. By way of example, however, if SpellDoctor were being implemented on a 7-day schedule, the sequence of instructional activities could follow the model below.
