Implementation: Home School Scenario

SpellDoctor can be a powerful addition to any homeschool program where students are performing their writing assignments on a computer. SpellDoctor can function well as a stand-alone spelling program, or as a supplement to workbooks and other printed materials. Schedules and word lists can be customized. SpellDoctor’s Individualized Spelling Journal serves as the perfect tool for spot-lighting error patterns.

It is important to note that SpellDoctor does not need to be tied to a specific schedule. Students work at their own pace. By way of example, however, if SpellDoctor were being implemented on a 7-day schedule, the sequence of instructional activities could follow the model below.
